The Holidays of the Daoist religion are birthdays of the important Gods and Chinese festivals. It mostly just depends on what your family celebrates. Many families focus on worshiping just a couple gods so the birthday or birthdays of those gods are really special. Since the Daoist religion gets mixed with other religions, many people practice other religions traditions and Daoist traditions.

- Exorcism: If you are sick a priest will preform a exorcism. They write a charm on a piece of paper and then burn it in hopes in reaches the heavens.
- Funeral: rituals are preformed over the dead. Family wears black. Often priests will burn money, and place flowers and incense on the dead. A shrine is created at the burial site.
- Cosmic Renewal: This is a rite to cleanse and repair the temple in order to bring harmony to the cosmos. Daoists give offerings to the cosmos and universe, these offerings don’t include using living things as sacrifices. This is because in Daoism they don’t kill animals.
